EVENT AMBASSADOR
Taking the event to new heights in terms of gameplay and international recognition! This year, Volleyball on Water joins forces with a new ambassador — a dynamic Slovenian athlete who brings passion, versatility, and top-level experience to the game.
Alan Košenina began his volleyball journey at a young age, starting in primary school under the guidance of Peter Možič. His path into beach volleyball developed through school competitions and summer camps, where he discovered his love for the game on sand and beyond.
From the very beginning, Alan has been part of the Volleyball on Water story — not only as a competitor, but as a true ambassador of the event’s spirit, energy, and unique concept.
Throughout his career, he has achieved outstanding success in indoor volleyball — becoming a national champion, cup winner, and Middle European League champion, as well as earning the MVP title in the national cup finals. On the international stage, he was part of the Slovenian national team in the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2022, and also claimed a silver medal at the FIVB World Tour event in Ljubljana.
With his energy, experience, and deep connection to the event, Alan brings a fresh wave of excitement to Volleyball on Water.
